achievments?!?!?!

For your information, you should read the achievement better... it don't tell to do 4000 nodes but log 4000x so if you log about 8 per node do 4000/8 and that will be the number of nodes you need to get that.

Unlike this kitten, nobody is forcing you to complete the achievements.

Most likely, because they didn't have a choice. Best guess is that they simply didn't save your harvest counts before achievements started. The data needed to award you your tool just doesn't exist and there's no way short of time travel to get it now.

you only did about half the work actualy

getting to 50 isnt enough to get these achievments, youd have fallen short


and ive done 4 of them and am about to finish 2 more, its alot of work, but oh well, its an achievment for a reason, its not a "freebie"

This is true. And what you said about grinding to 50 and falling short, it would really depend on your approach. I just found it to burn me out because it required me to farm mats, make shards, along with the actual crafting again. Sure its work and maybe its something to do, but i find it discouraging because I have already done this once before~ Like, say you work for a month. And then your boss tells you, you wont get paid till you work another month, and you only will get paid for one months work. Not a great example but it's kind of how I feel about the situation. Just bums me out.

Thats great you are almost done with yours, i applaud you for it. But in my reality it suck to have celebrated your victory only to be given the same challenge again. Its like recycling the same content. I'm sorry but that's just lame imo.

I understand kind of a reasoning behind all this but it still discourages me.

i dont and cant look at it like this with that analogy

you already got paid after all, you are now level 50, thats your payment

now you can go back and get this achievment SO MUCH EASIER then you did before, and at a fraction of the cost(if not a profit)

add in hasty hands which will speed up the lower stuff alot
and the fact you can do lower 40 stuff to get the 41-50 side of it, without worry of how much exp you get



so i look at it like this

i worked for a month, my payment was level 50
my next months works reward will now be a golden tool

2 seperate rewards for 2 different jobs

I also look at it as seperating those who actualy want to craft and those who just did it to get to 50 and never have to touch it again. Those who arent crafters wont redo it for the acheivement at all, while those of us who are, will gladly redo it cuz we were doing stuff like this anyway
