I just started Eureka.

For me anemos got fun once I actually joined the train. That was near the start though so it was crazy active and ppl had no problem going to revive others and welcomed low levels.

Pagos is more of a death trap for low levels and still sorta is with how many mobs are over max lv. I enjoyed my time on anemos more then pagos but pagos get's easier once you get to 25 and can get all the aetherytes but the hurtle to get enough light is a long one. I believe that amount of time I spent just getting the fully upgrade in pagos I could of already gotten 2 or 3 anemos weapons.

Haven't been to pyros but from what I hear it's easier but I don't like the sound of the rng stats for it's final weapon even if you can potentially end up with 5 substat all at 200.

It really depends, OP. I'm at Lv60 in Hydatos and it still hasn't started being fun for me. At this point, the only reason I'm doing it is for the sake of completionism and because a friend dragged me in. Sure, it gets faster and easier as you unlock aetherytes, join the NM train, and eventually get mounts, but in general, the gameplay loop of the four Eureka zones are all pretty identical; grind trash mobs, kill NMs, rinse and repeat until you either hit max level or your arms fall off. Basically if you're not enjoying Anemos and grinding trash mobs isn't your thing, you probably won't enjoy the later zones either. None of them are significant improvements over the original Anemos formula (and in the case of Pagos, it actually regresses and becomes even worse), and logos actions don't change things up all that much.

Is there some other way I can acquire my job's level 70 dyeable gear than to do this?

Anemos is probably the worst of the 4. Stock up on potions and do challenge logs. Shout for an elemental for the buff. Your goal is simply to get all the logs done and go do something else until you're high for the other areas.

Trying to level up solo in Eureka is a mindnumbingly boring grind.
It gets fun, or well ... more fun anyway, when you find a bunch of friends at the same level that you can group up with. It is still a boring grind, but with friends it will go faster and you will have someone to talk to meanwhile.

Pretty hard until you get to around level 7 or so given you're an aggro magnet. Early on you should try and find a low level group to chain mobs to get your first protean crystal for your quest to unlock Gerolt and the NPC's. It would be much easier if you have a friend with a mount who can get you started early. I would simply try and connect with the train and do NM's and hope someone in the party can uber you around. By the time you hit 20 you should have enough crystals etc for 3 weapons or weapon and gear.

The dyeable AF gear is pretty sweet. I spent a lot of time getting the crystals for different sets.

If you're by yourself - you're doing it wrong.

The zone works for people who enjoy working together.

Frankly, I'm one of the few people who likes doing the zone - but I'm an old MMO player so the zone gives me a nostalgic feel.

To each their own I guess.

You won't find fun here, only suffering, better look for the fun somewhere else.

It wont get more Fun. Eureka is a ressource eating piece of nonsense where the devs have to lock emotes/Relics/Mounts behind it to get people to actually do it. The sad thing is: they actually believe people like it... they dont realise that people only do it because of the Stuff thats locked behind it.

It never gets fun. Eureka is meant only for suffering.

It's not really a fun place to be...but it's also not a difficult place to be either. It's just tedious and time consuming going through Pagos. Before and after that it's a smooth ride.
