but as a non crafter as your self how can you make a rule that the crafters can not supply any mats, even at a fee.

what if i needed a rivet and i offered 1,000,000 gil for it. could there then be an exception.

I can't do that. It would open the door to other exceptions, and we don't want to go down that path.

If you have the gil for a mat...why don't you just go buy it?

Alternatively, if it's a crafted mat, buy the supplies for that and get someone else to craft it. Then you'll have it.
