We need a 3rd range class, i present to you the launcher aka HEAVY GUNNER

If we’re talking about gun classes, why not go full Barret and give us a gun arm? The transmog would be fun, each weapon giving you a different appearance on your arm like Barret’s did in 7. Instead of having utility like MCH or BRD it could be pure dps like the ranged version of SAM.

I'd love a dual pistol user, put properly sized pistols... Not the kind machinist uses. A sniper sould be cool too! Could maybe even work in some support via runes so it'd be a rune sniper. I also personally didnt hate the cast bar on bard or machinist so maybe that could be part of it to line up a shot to fit the sniper theme.

I still think that l machinist should be using a rifle and focus more on gadgets than the gun.

That being said, I really want a chakra/glaive throwing wrapon class

Gambler is my go-to third ranged DPS job. With a focus on throwing weapons, likely enchanted (really just explosive) dice, cards, darts, or knives. A Ranger with Crossbows or a Rifle certainly is an option too, though the former is referenced in the Ranged Limit Break 1/2 animations so I don't know how much that will be used. Chakrams kinda fit Dancer if they decide to go that route. It's a unique weapon for sure, so it could be used for a totally unique job as well.

Throwing Weapons of some sort take priority to me over something like a cannon though. I could see MCH getting animations that pull out a heavy cannon sooner or later. It's just a matter of time.

I apologize you guys have not watched the links this is not the normal pistol/normal gun class this is a Heavy gunner that has a transforming cannon that has Gatling gun, rocket launcher, plasma launcher and freaking lasers! lol anyways transforming cannon watch the links :P

I foresee a Whip, Throwing, or Crossbow job before a heavy Gunner.

Beast master (uses whips at range for combos while pet does stuff like MCH's turret does). Ranger/Hunters/Shikaree could use Crossbow as a main arm and traps/snares/poison darts/throwing bombs as their abilities. It would be sort of like Archer but more focusing on trapping/hunting aspects. Hell, they can have a pet Falcon that does dive bombs and pecks the enemy. If MCH can have turret idk why Beastmaster or Ranger can't be pet-oriented ranged dps.

I don't think you've seen Satellite Beam. I can totally see MCH getting some heavy gun animations in the future. Whether it happens or not, we'll see.

Isn't Machinist already the heavy gun user? Any heavier and it's a canon.

I rather have Yuna's Gunner Dress Sphere as a new Job in Limsa. Guage would probably be called Trigger Happy.

A very fast paced ranged class. Like NIN with Huton.

I DONT want Corsair from FFXI because I want a real gambler with cards, dice, a roulette reels / gachapon. Like Ace or Lady Luck.
