Regarding the Revision of the Prohibited Activities and Account Penalty Policy

I think I'm just going to not talk to players who I can tell are easily offended for safety's sake.

Also, while it's great that they're taking steps to improve enforcement of social issues, when the heck are they going to step it up for the bots? There's more of them then I've ever seen before on Cactuar now, yet the same ones I've been reporting for over a year are still untouched...

But who is more of a nuisance? A team that intentionally sets out to fulfill the conditions to spawn a S rank then calls it out publicly and give several minutes to allow even those on potato PC and original PS4 to make it, or someone who also heard the public call who loads into an area pretty fast, runs over to the S rank, and immediately pulls it, therefore denying others with slower load times a chance to get credit on an S rank? So now your account can be penalized for having differing opinions and for losing internet connection. Sounds great. Personally I can’t see myself getting into trouble over differing opinions. Don’t really talk much in game anyway, and since I know how some people are, I pretty much won’t say anything in game that I wouldn’t say to a 4 year old. But as far as disconnects go, how exactly do you determine that someone intentionally severed their internet connection vs an actual disconnect anyway? Hope my flaky internet doesn’t act up or I don’t have a power outage while I’m playing.

Also, since literally anything can be classed as disrupting someone’s play, will people get banned for being inexperienced and not playing optimally? Will people be banned for making suggestions to people on gameplay? Like if we spawn into a dungeon and the healer is doing nothing and the tank says “protect?” can he be banned for harassing the healer? Or will the healer be banned for not using protect fast enough and “disrupting” the dungeon run?

Wait, if a healer doesn't touch a single healing spell in a dungeon, and the tank keeps dying from it, if I tell the healer (nicely) to use their healing spells so we can clear the dungeon, is this an expression that compels a playing style? Because not healing and doing only dps is a play style, and so is healing and doing some/no dps so the tank doesn't die.

Could I get in trouble for telling a healer to heal, when they only want to do dps? What if I tell them that if you don't want to heal on a healer, they should probably play a dps class instead? Would I now get a suspension for that? :V

Pretty sure this applies to the people who right out say "Oh no not this dungeon." "Or kick me, because I don't want to be here." /actively disconnects.

I'd imagine if it happens on a consistent basis? At least that's what MP games do but without that clarification it does very much feel like a black mark against those who have spotty net. That's my biggest issue here, most of these aren't bad in spirit but they're so vague you're given the impression that anything can get you in trouble. They really need to go back and rewrite a lot of these.

The intentional disconnect thing is aimed squarely at the players who are doing it to skip the cut scenes in the MSQ roulette.

Sounds like a rule designed to force tanks and healers to tank and heal for people. I'm a human being, not a slave, and personally I reserve the right to leave any duty at any time I desire to for any reason.
