that is very interesting, i dont find game of throne perfect, but yyes you see if you compare Tywin with Gaius, both are same kind of char, Tywin has political vision, also something we could say as "wise" , also he is close enough of the prince model , or Richelieu, someone who accept to do non moral stuff for more expansive interest; Tywin is well writed, he is not ruler "i want conquer the world" like Gaius, but again both share same kind, and same color, i wonder why red always show the "bad".
Without expecting something like GOt Gaius could be less cliché bad guy in this story.
Thx for your suggestion book, i dont know all of them so it is interesting to speak on it.
However i dont know if he is a reader of Suntzu, cause he seems rely his whole tactic on a mega arma, and Sun Tzu is more global on his approach of logistic and war.
But prolly he would be a better leader with a more interesting speech and view than now, if he got all this background .
Joeffrey is a good exemple, madness is maybe often used, but is still nice for a bad guy against hero in a story, and also ultima could become an autonome monster who could destroy the world.
anyway that an insight suggestion showing the difference between a good narrativ and a bad narrative
