BRD Attribute Points

You guys are so helpful! I'm really happy about your responses. Is the community always so friendly? I was bracing to get made fun of or given snarky remarks for my lack of knowledge.

We dont know for sure how much the stats increase our damage and magic enhancing, but one thing for sure is that dex and pie give a boost on your damage according to what the dev team posted about stat allocation, i dont think af alone will give better stats in the long run although those sets might have a bonus for having a full set like other MMO's we'll know in a few days now, in my op. i would recomend you always look for dex and pie, remember that bard comes from archer as main so its logical to bet for those stats, the logic that XI had in stats doesnt apply here, they might give you enhancing for songs with pie or dex, who knows.

there was a dev post that AA will be better the double melded gear.

I wouldn't really worry about it too much as chances are if something like VIT affected BRD songs the BRD AF will be boosting that anyway since the AF is meant for that job's role specifically. It's why I haven't put too much trouble into making a healing set on my CNJ besides a weapon.

What he is saying is VIT already determines your enhancing magic potency....
So Archer doesn't need VIT but Bard could probably use it

Yeah i saw that, but what if the af is more balanced in enhancing magic? we still need attack gear, i've never been married with gear sets only if those gears give a special bonus for wearing complete sets.
