Probably some titles from the Masked Carnivale stuff, maybe some actual gear for it. Given that the Masked Carnivale is supposed to make elements and such matter, maybe even add in horizontal progression to them like one set to raise Fire damage or another to raise Lightning resistance.Quote:

The only way Blue Mage is a good thing is if this is an experiment to develop more creative and unique systems that bloom into full jobs later.
If you can't understand why people playing FFXIV are upset that they're locked to a trial version of FFXIV with a new job, then I'm not sure how else to explain it.
Fun solo overpowered content class with heavy restrictions should've really just been Onion Knight. -

To many ppl think only for themself alone and how they are not satisfied, for me its totaly new and unusual i never had thought of a solution like this in a MMORPG which is a themepark based on a solotitel, and some of my friends mostly DoH and DoL Main only would love to have a BLU since 2.0 . -

Ur solution may sound right for u and some other ppl but its not the perfect solution for all of the comunity.
I had never seen a such streamlined mmorpg like this, u have in no aspect of this game a real choice just slightly differnce in playstyle which all have to fullfill the same debuff, buff, dot style ( luckly RDM not atm)
This FIRST "limited Job" is a new thing which no one had made experience with (who knows, at the end we all had cried that much about it that we can gather over 49skills from monsters and than we can only use 20 in raids cause it will get streamlined too, so where the point to go around and gather them all if only the streamlined skills are able to use for duty rnd content ?)
Its the first job in this style and like they mentioned it, there will other jobs follow too, this isnt a freakn minigame its just the whole damn game itself...

Have a separate “mode” in which you can enter the presented limited job, where you do the carnival and explore older content for moves to fill the log and such, and another “mode” in which you can have a standard rotation, mechanics unique to the job, and be able to play all modern content. This can use all the same assets so nothing would have to be physically added, only designed and implemented.
They could even have the carnival be the means to unlock this “unlimited mode”.
I’m saying there is a ya for both people to happy, to have their jobs and play them too!
I realize this is a very similar post to one I made elsewhere, but I truly think this is the solution everyone is looking for! I may make an in depth job design and accompanying video to help detail these thoughts and decisions, and a plead to the developers to not just listen to one or the other side of this whole debacle, but implement both to give everyone what they want! -
