Would you be ok with no new tank or healer in 5.0?

I don’t tank much and I rarely heal. (even though I went through the trouble of leveling all three healers.) But still. Tank/Healer mains need something new.

I don’t play them so it wouldn’t matter to me. If it’s only tank/healer and no dps, then there won’t be something new that I’d care to play, but it would be fine since there are so many more dps jobs. People who like either tank or healer are more limited in choice.

Probably not. I'd expect a similar answer if you asked dps mains if they would be ok if there were no new dps jobs for 2 expansions/4 years.

One of biggest rumors going around is that there will not be a new tank or healer in 5.0 due to giving the dev team more time to balance the existing tank and healer jobs.

Why don't you ask if all dps players are ok with even longer que times? Because that will happen if they only bring dps classes again.

As a tank main and healer secondary, I want both roles to have new jobs in 5.0. Even if they add another DPS, I'm happy if they add a tank and a healer.

I'd be indifferent to be honest. I like how I can play any role I want when it flights my fancy so having new dps jobs only would just make level them in HoH/PvP just to skip the long queues.

Honestly, no.

They said no tank or heal in SB because they attempted to balance tanks and heals. And they failed in that regard.

They'll probably put the balanced versions on the Mogstation for $50 each.

I would be very NO okay if there are no new tank and healer class after they implemented 2 new dps classes in SB. Heck if they have the nerve to add a new dps class(es), without adding tank and healer... I'll quit just like that.

No, I would be no okay if they don't add a new tank and healer, the last time the excuse was balance the current ones and for what? WAR and SCH still being dominating the roles by a large margin with DRK and WHM spending 3/4 of the expansion suffering in the corner watching how the special couple get more and more love.
If I gonna pass another expansion with this plan better less focusing on balance and give us new jobs.
