Logos system feels half baked.

I was expecting to be able to switch freely between the 3 actions rather than lose it upon setting it as a duty action. Some of the actions are really cool and actually allow you to do more things solo (without having to switch jobs) but it feels like it needs more improvements to allow it to be a great system. It could potentially work outside of Eureka as well.... balancing issues aside.

I think I could actually really like the logos system with just one big change.

I'm one of those weirdos who liked the draw system in ff8. But you know what would have made me hate that system? If when I equipped a spell to my character I couldn't unequip it again without destroying it....

I think they should make it so that when we make the logogram combos they are stored in drakes logogram log and every time you make one it gets an extra "charge". E.G. instead of getting 1 cure that has 99 charges that gets wasted as soon as you leave or swap logograms you get 3 charges of cure per cure you create that stack up to 99 and you can swap out cure at will.

You can then equip 3(6 after upgrading logos manipulator) at once, same as now. But you can only do this at drake. So you'd have to think about what kind of situations you're going to be in between going out and returning to camp and take the necessary logogram combos with you. Once you leave eureka your logograms would be sent back to drakes storage. OR you can go and talk to him and swap them out yourself.

This would make the system way more accessible and make it feel like less of a waste simply equipping your logograms at all.

I wish I could look at the list of what I've made while making them. And also it should record the recipe in the list after you make it so I don't have to keep checking a google doc to make things.

It's such a SE thing to do: design a system then leave out something that would be super useful and needed so the whole thing becomes an annoying trial.

I think the problem with the logos system is that its so constrained. Why worry about balance in an instance that has no effect on the outside world? Tanking a boss as a war and spamming Cure 3 to heal myself is a great feeling and idk why they didn't double down on that. There is no reason for Reraise to be a 70% chance of working. I feel like all game developers gave up "fun" for "engaging", "entertaining" for "addictive". The proof is in the pudding and if you still don't believe me then explain why we can't mount until you hit max elvl?
