That's not fair. He can handle traditional stuff, and it would have been perfectly fine if they hadn't decided to do it Bollywood-style. I'm convinced they picked that simply because they knew that Y'shtola could pull it off, and didn't think about the other characters.

Wait, I thought that was a side story and not part of the MSQ. The only thing I remember was was the relationship between Zenos and that donkey. That little burro just idolizes him.

Idk if I'd really call that idolizing, I mean he did have to use his resonant powers to get the donkey to stop biting him when they first met. Honestly, I was half expecting Hildibrand to drop outta the sky there.

That's because the donkey is actually Zenos' twin brother from birth but experimented on secretly inside the empire. He harbors deep resentment, thus the biting.
