Maybe you should learn to do some math, because it looks like they charged you correctly for everything you purchased. But maybe first, learn not to waste your money on things you don't need. This is no one's fault but your own and you should reevaluate your priorities.

Looks like SE has got itself a whale. If you can afford it all power to you but the fact that you were so shocked that you had the time to create a thread leads me to believe otherwise. I'm not against supporting developers by buying "optional" goods. However I am against developers nickel-n-dime-ing you for things that could easily be put in-game and lackluster goods, like glamours with no dye options. I'd much rather throw my money away on something else at that point.

Premium App gives you a free retainer so you only have to rent 7 more. Having 10 Retainers is a great way to make lots of gil if you use them well xD. 32 dollars a month is still cheap compared to 350 bucks a month on Black Desert Online.

FFXIV sub - 14.99
7 Retainers - 14.00
Premium App - 5.00
Total - 33.99 a month. You actually save 12 dollars lol.

As for what you can do about it, nothing you can do as far as I know. Unless you contact your bank/credit card company and cancel the transaction. Which I emphatically do not recommend, as SE will likely permanently lock your FF14 account for a chargeback. The Mogstation doesn't hide your total when you make a purchase so you had to approve the amount at least once, which makes it highly unlikely that SE support will be willing to change anything for you.

It's understandable having 9 (or 10 with the premium app) retainers. I myself am a big pack rat and store of items and if I didn't have all 10 of my retainers I would of had to throw away alot of stuff n items. Items which of course can he used for other jobs and for crafting and of course glamouring as well.

Sounds like you skim-bought your subscription. Skim as in skimmed all the information pertaining your sub, the duration at which you'd be charged, the retainers you'd be chardged and finally even that companion app.

It is as sad as it is hilarious. This is not even a "I clicked yes once" by accident kind of thing, especially considering the amount of confirmation pages you go through to buy all these.

My extremely curious side of me wishes there was a compilation thread where all the people with at least over five retainers post pictures of whatever the hell they're packing so bad in those retainers.

Like, I'm legit curious. I know about token bloats and mat bloat and hell even glam bloat (that one being the most popular) but I'm just super curious about the craft mats needing more than 2 or 3 retainers.

Did you seriously not check the final price of your purchase before smashing the confirm button? I'm pretty sure kids even know the final cost of what they're buying.
