I don't understand the issue, I don't understand why it's such a problem to look over stuff. Even if people didn't post static recruitment in there, not every party is going to be something you're looking for so you'll naturally just look over it.

How about we make requests for making things reportable reportable?
Reportception.
Or...you know, you could always just make your own Party Finder instead of relying on what is listed.

Imagine that - you make your own and you won't have to worry about statics recruiting in the PF.

Why does something so trivial annoy you?
Either we get a "static-recruit-only" board or we don't. Making them reportable is not an option, like - report for what? What reason could there be that would warrant reports for static recruitment, be it LFP or LFG? It is party recruitment, just long term.
I have a BIT of sympathy with white knights complaining about clear sellers because OK yeah it's probably discouraging for some to work for something if people basically just can get boosted for gil or blackmarket rmt (sympathy doesn't mean I agree with that view though), but something as trivial as static posts is really nothing you should get angry about.
Just deal with it, seriously. ( *-_-)
As another user said, the problem is not that they put these, but that they use unrelated categories so that theirs appears on top. Is that reportable? Nope. Is it annoying, selfish, and childish AF? Yeah, it certainly is.
And that's one of the many reasons (or one of the symptoms of the real reasons) as of why I barely use the PF, even if I would like to help with tanking.
That's a silly reason to ignore using party finder. Whether people intentionally miscategorize their pf or not, you're going to ignore more pfs than you'll pay attention to.
And to be honest? I like pf the way it is now. Yes there are tons of things I skim and ignore, but it's better than having a pf with only ever two or three things on it at once, like Coeurl pre-crossworld was.
It is selfish, childish and annoying that people use the PF to find members for their static? Where else should they do it? In the shoutchat where people get annoyed the same way and report them for spamming or in the Forum where only a small part of the player base is reading?
Avoiding the PF because people use it for static recruitment is like avoiding the ingame chat because people write something thats not game related.
Please explain to me how this is selfish and childish? Oh, I really want to hear this. I mean, selfish? Really? As if every 'non-recruiting' static isn't selfish to the extent that the party creator ultimately want to prog, clear, or get a friend through a particular fight and wants other players to join in. Bad choice of words here. Childish? Well, it certainly is childish to complain on the forums about recruiting, a doubly so for the poster suggesting that they should be reportable. I guess it's just simply impossible to ignore the long list of all the PFs, and clearly, common sense has gone out of the window if this thread exists. Jesus, this is one of the most asinine "complaints" I've seen in quite some time.
