Heh. :) Certainly there is some factor in there, but as many have stated in older threads and here, there are many dedicated Disciples of the Land and Hand that did level up their class through crafting / gathering. They recorded and gave full credit for Disciples of War and Magic (for their # of Kills), and many people instantly got their Achievements and Rewards, but 0 (not even a paltry tiny amount) of credit for any DoL or DoH.

It's probably useless at this point to ask, but I figured it'd be nice to give it a shot.

Even if they gave a ridiculously unfair "credit" - like you say, even 1/4 of a realistic # of synths to level from 1 to 50 - it'd still be better than absolute zero, which is what we were stuck with.

The 100,000 Kill Achievement idea you have sounds cool also; something to make it more interesting and encourage some camping of various monsters.

this whole achievement system is crap anyways.
i'm fine with collecting points to show them off, tho, i wish that we could get rewards like the crowns, DoL/DoH tools or titels over other means.

i'd rather obtain the luminary tools by completing a special set of hard guild crafting quests.a way to show that you actually earned them, rather then just doing all this crap with hasty hands over and over again.
just like AF quests work, you could easily start obtaining those quests when you get to the current lvl cap.

guess i'm not gonna see any challenging content till 2.0 ;;

The only reason it bothers me that we were discredited for a years worth of synthizing, is that 3,000 synths seem excessive for such a laggy, unintuitive, dull and repititious minigame.

The fact that I already covered a majority of those synths over the year and have to return to my own personal hell for an achievement i already earnt, makes me want to pull my hair out.

Hi Avraym,

Exactly. Crafting is very boring as it is (it has inherent problems), but like you and many others, we weathered the monotony and hell of crafting endless synths (like Masks) to get to Level 50. And to create Luminary Tools and not get *any* credit at all for our thousands of synths really feels like a slap in the face.

I can't bring myself to try and craft thousands of times again (for no reason other than to get the Luminary Tools), especially when we earned them fairly but were never given credit for them.

I'd love to see challenging, unique Craft Quests to earn the Luminary Tools instead of brutal, mindless repetition (# of synths).

It doesn't take that long to get the achievements on crafting classes.

Gathering on the other hand is ridiculous and needs to be lowered.

I feel bad for people who have done most of the requirements for the achivements, but at this point its just too late and complex to sort out who had what prior to the patch.

ya know the more time you spend on the forums dreaming up easier ways to get these tools. The less time you are spending on actually making progress getting them.

The problem with this is what would you give to the people who both leveled to 50 before achievement and then crafted some more for golden tools? Platinum tool?
