Guess future jobs, as well as their origins

Some of these job suggestions such as geomancer and time mage are already in the game I feel. For example - Astro pretty much feels like a time mage to me (just under a different name). Same thing with conjurer and geomancer. While it's possible to get these jobs; I wouldn't bank on these two.

I would like to see blue mage.

What I really want (as a tank main) is more tank classes. Maybe a magic based tank or something. I love leveling tank classes.

I disagree specially since FF tactics had all these jobs and more. Going on the FFT jobs we have chemist. Since we already have the DoH job alchemist we would need a new name like battle chemist that would be a non-magic healer. Lorewise one can claim that the battle alchemist adjust formulas for the individual and battle conditions so they can avoid the limitations of normal potions also that they use mixes that need to be used immediately when made since their effectiveness decay rapidly when stored.

About geomancer it could be an alternative branch from conjurer like how SMN and SCH are branches from ACN.

Corsair, from Limsa Lominsa (give Limsa a job that comes from them! Of the fifteen jobs, Limsa is the only one that hasn't developed their own Soul Crystal, every other modern Eorzean City-State has a least one known one. Ala Mhigo has two if you count Red Mage as it comes from the region, but was probably developed before Ala Mhigo was founded, and Ishgard has three)

A lot of you are missing the point of the post. Did you even read it?

It’s not for job suggestions. It’s for speculation on which jobs are coming, and the LORE origins that they will be tied to.

Let’s use Red Mage as an example since it is out. You would suggest Red Mage, and then put where you think it will come from. If you guessed Gyr Albania, and the surviving mages from the War of the Magi, then you would of been correct.

You can type a job you would like, but say where you think it could be tied to. If that job gets released, then we will go back, and look at who was close, or right all along. :)
