Look at that stupid screenshot people keep posting, it doesn't get gayer than that.

You know it's one thing to keep having to deal with this cutesie stuff like the reindeer outfit and the moogle fight, it's starting to get to where it's hard to play this game because of this crap and people keep fueling it

If they actually add something like that I'll get over it by not playing anymore, I get the western audience isn't their primary concern but that crap's alienating us entirely.

There's a reason why shooters are the top selling games in the west, the only people in the west who are into this fabulous crap are some children and anime geeks. FF7 did the best out of the FFs here largely because of how dark and gritty it was. The average American could enjoy it without scoffing at how "fabulous" it was.

Final Fantasy VII had a part where you could choose a dude to go on a date with, as well as a part where you cross dress. You really need to re-evaluate what "dark" and "gritty" mean.
