It's not impossible, we already have an aetheryte that becomes accessible as the story progresses. But here's the question - once that spoiler takes effect, why do you even need to go to Vesper Bay?

The MSQ will send you quite often there, even after the fact. They are also some unlocking side quests you decided to do only after completing the MSQ.
There is quite some stuff there.
