Grand company horses can fly aswell

With what they did with slepnir they could easily do with the primal ponies have there respected aspect element surround them and allow them flight

I would love to use my primal ponies again

I like the idea of the Nightmare being endowed with the ability to fly. It's a neat looking mount and their riders get emotionally attached to them.

Also, I have to admit another idea popped into my head when I read the title to this thread. A mount which looks like a bugaphobe's worse nightmare of a bottle fly would be awesome. Could you just imagine what FFXIV's art dept. could come up with? It could even pick us up and carry us like that magitech claw mount. Bzzzzzzzz.

My giant pink t-rex can fly, but not my horse blessed and enchanted by the wind primal.

Hmmmm.

Even the stupid dinosaur mount from Eureka can fly which by far is the dumbest thing ever... it looks absurd.

No, it's more literally the elephant in the room in regards to inconsistencies with what can or cannot fly.
