Can we let the Unicorn fly?

There are 3 unicorns who can fly: Astrope, Pegasus and Night Pegasus.

Especially Pegasus is the winged version of WHM quest Unicorn so, i guess don't expect them to make it fly :3

Good lord, why does everything have to fly? Try walking or riding from point a to point b for once. Just might catch something screenshot worthy. Just sayin'.

Now go earn that non-flying unicorn mount and take a screen shot of yourself jumping over a fence. Trust me, you'll thank me for it later.

Probably because the mount is job-related reward, and people would like to use it.

Still no Insect mount for us huh ?

Personally, I feel that every mount with unique music should fly (this doesn't include the unicorn I'm afraid, it has the generic mount theme). As far as I know, the only mounts this applies to are the primal ponies. Some of us use the mounts for their theme and while people can say "Oh, just use YouTube", and you'd be right for the most part, but for me, the idea of using say Markab as my main mount is really nice. Right now I use Markab (Ramuh's pony) as my ground mount and Dark Lanner (Nidhogg's bird) as my flying mount. The connection between the mount theme, the design, etc, really captivates me.

For generic theme mounts, there's several that have the generic ground mount theme that can fly, so I feel like that kinda loosens the edge on that front.

Yeah I always thought this would be a neat solution.

Little side quest where you find an "Allagan transportation disc" or something, whenever you're on a non flying mount in a flying enabled area jumping causes your 'ATD' to appear and your mount quickly hops on.

Means we could put an end to the constant stream of mounts that blatantly shouldn't fly but do anyway. The dino mount is cool, the flying animation for it is not...

The elephant from the Ananta doesn't seem to care all that much about it either.

Frankly, the cat's out of the bag. Flying isn't going to go away, so non-flying mounts are objectively inferior in all regards for their intended purpose (travel), i.e. pointless. The precedent for mounts that have no business flying around actually flying is already set as well. Just get it over with and make everything fly, no matter how ridiculous.

We have a flying T-rex mount, I think they stopped giving a shit abour lore
