well, the problem is the enmity bar is there, so no excuse to steal hate :) yeah disagree if any dps steal hate 'accidently'. Another Question is the gla enough ability to build hate?
Ya that also exists. not the case here tho.
I aint talking about accidental, i'm talking about deliberate.. just to brag.
I build good hate on GLA, but as a GLA u cant build good enough hate if u got a
THM giving all he has to steal it from you.. lol (imma put another "lol" here just in case)
I've got to tell some of my LS mates come to read this... I really hate when I hear things like "More damage, NUKE, NUKE! I SEE TOO MUCH MP ON THERE!". They don't realize that we've got to manage MP pool and enmity. We cannot nuke when we are KO, can we?
Btw, I'm afraid this is gettin' even worse with aforementioned Black Mage's skill Convert T_T The scenario would be "DUDE NUKE! DON'T STOP NUKING! Convert and KEEP NUKING! What's the matter with you?!"
*facepalm*
Actually, that can happen when other players are using enmity hate reset abilities too. (Such as chameleon and shroud of saints.) It's not just the tanks fault if that happens.
On Topic: Basically, I think people need to realize that everyone in the party has things to do and things to watch. Thaum has to keep dpsing, but also watch mp and hate. Tank has to hold hate, but watch his cooldowns and hp, etc. Conjurer has to keep healing, but watch their own hp, mp, and whatever other odd tasks they keep up with. These are examples but every class has these things to do. What they should not be doing is trying to out dps someone else or steal hate from someone else (unless they are the tank or under specific instruction to do so.)
Also, some players need to not try to do everything (I do this sometimes myself.) For instance, if I'm in a pick-up party, I sometimes try to overcompensate for other players that sometimes aren't as familiar with fights or other such circumstances. There needs to be balance. Players want to be the hero, but it's not worth it if you die in the process, for instance. Do your best, but stay the steady course rather than a riskier choice, I guess. lol
Group effort everyone! You play together, you win together, and you lose together. To succeed though, you need to work together. =p
NOOO!!!! NUKE! NUKE! NUKE!!! HAHA!!!! TAKE THAT TANK I TOOK THE MOB FROM YOU..
THAT MAKES ME BADASS AND IMRESSIVE!! *vulcan breath* *dies a horrible death*
*Starts typing in pt chat while laying dead on the ground making excuses for his death*
Cuase ofcourse it aint his fault. it's someone elses.......
I bet thaums "NUKE! NUKE! NUKE!!! HAHA!!!! TAKE THAT TANK I TOOK THE MOB FROM YOU" because they want to see what you type in party chat. Yo english skilz are wack yo. Check it son.
Eh, I hate Thm's in Ifrit sometimes. But if they ever steal hate and brag about it, I go on my Mrd and put out bigger numbers than them on parse. They usually shut up after that. :>
i have to say that was the best thing i have seen in an ifrit party man. was classic. thm pulls hate and rydin goes passive and says and "now you die!"
with the new skills and all thm has you can really tell the difference between a good thm and a bad one now. a good thm is usually near or the top dps on the parse list and never pulls hate. a bad one is consistently pulling hate.
