Yeah, I didn't quite understand why the newest raid was all greed. Understood it for the older ones, but not the newest one.

Yeah, it's stupid.

How is it understandable for the older ones? Now if you want a specific piece of gear from those you also have to roll against anyone who Greeds on it for GC seals or desynthesis.

Agreed. I asked the group I was with the other day if I could have the healer belt, you know since I WAS a healer and needed to replace my old 340 one, but the crappy red mage (Who barely hit 35k HP and died a good two dozen times) replied with 'but i need it to'.

Barely outrolled them, but I shouldn't have to worry about a terrible DPS being able to get something I actively needed/could use instantly/actually came for.

I'd greatly rather them have it the way IT USED TO BE, because whoever thought this was a good idea needs a good hit on the head by a washpan.

I can understand them doing it for older raids, but the newer ones? Come on now.

In my opinion greed only is unacceptable in any content. No it doesn't make it okay if it's old content. People still want glams, new players still want and need to get upgrades...never mind how the loot in the game was designed for a need/greed/pass trinity. It's no wonder greed only is causing so much grief. Absolutely no content was designed with that loot system in mind.

Hiya, just chiming in to say Greed only still sucks and has turned 24man into a weekly only run once for the coin deal for me. Gear too hard.
