Man, this is such a letdown. Why is there no male equivalent of the dress? Well not equivalent, but a new male glamour instead? Instead we get a bunny suit that no one but fujoshi and cat bois wanted. Thanks square!

That's a let down. I was curious what the summer dress' male equivalent would be ... only to find there is none. :/

I have no problem with the style of the clothes or hairstyle, as long as they are available for both genders. There is feminine stuff, there is masculine stuff, but it's important one can choose and have options without feeling one made a bad choice by picking certain gender for the character one plays.

Would be nice if they just made the dress fit the male body. Let males wear dresses if they want.

It is disappointing but there was mention that 4.35 and 4.36 would bring more male glamours. In addition, on the Reddit thread where certain people look at certain files... there are some pretty damn good male glamours in there that will be released somewhere.

I would wait until they release what they say is intended to fill this discrepancy before getting upset. It is probably my optimist speaking, but perhaps this is the reason why we got a 1:1 copy of the male bunny outfits - they were working on other exclusive gear sets.

the male unique set is 300% a cash shop set.
both of the other sets had both male/female sets.

Qaintrelle's Hat (Master Weaver VI Recipe)
Qaintrelle's Ruffled Dress (Master Weaver VI Recipe)

I know female characters are typically spoiled with glamour items in MMOs but I also feel FFXIV has a very high amount of male characters for this game genre. I hope the team doesn't assume because no one wanted that hideous Hildibrand set from Mog Station means there is no demand for male glamour items.

Hopefully one day Final Fantasy embraces the real world and stops limiting cross gender clothing. Body types are varied enough as it is, no need to add in gender limitations.

If nudity becomes a possibility when worn on a different gender, then apply an automatic censored effect on that specific area:
