Opinion Thread: What do you typically look for in a glamour?

Although I don't glamour my jobs entirely different, they all share a common theme: A casual jacket or shirt paired with some baggy pants and either shoes or boots.
I do have my favourite gear pieces that I mostly glam on everything when I feel like it, as long as it dyes decently in the metallic dyes and it suits my taste I'm not complaining.

When I assess some new glam I like to look for colors that complement my pale skin and dark green hair (darker blues, greens, etc.) and how it fits on my character.

Sometimes it's hard to find something that works just right on a Femroe, but when it all comes together it's a no brainer and I keep in my rotation.

As an example one of my all time favorite combos is the Thavnairian Autum Wool Dress in Midnight Blue matched with the Loyal Housemaid's Shoes and Bloomers dyed Jet Black and the Makai Moon Guide's Headpiece in Midnight Blue. :)

Lack of egregious clipping coupled with reasonably job-appropriate looks. For crafters in particular, this means ruling out virtually any apron, and opting instead for closer-fitting tunics and pants. Any hanging fabric below the waste ends up looking like ass when kneeling down to craft something.

I tend to go with what I find cute, or neat, or looks awesome. xP
Eventually I'll focus more based around my characters' job and style.

The job has no effect on the styles I choose. I want my characters to appear feminine and typically would pick something that shows some skin to varying degrees, has a tighter waistline but flares out at the bottom. Thigh high stockings and boots are great paired with long coats, shorts and skirts. Long skirts look nice with a tight small top such as a corset or a crop top. I don't like big hats and helmets very much so my character often wears a small accessory on her head.

Heavier armors can be fun too if they have a nice shape like the DRG AF1 and AF2. I find most tank armor to be too bulky, as if it's positioned too far from the character's body and totally hiding the body shape. It would be great to get some "slim" and beautifully decorated armor in the future.
