Request: Please add Alliance Raid unskippable cutscenes

I wouldn't really call that fair when there's an option within the System Configuration menus that literally allows me to skip cutscenes that I've already watched automatically for the sole purpose that I don't have to suffer through them each and every time I walk into a duty. And that option has been there since the birth of the game itself.

People should just politely ask, see if the Alliance agrees or minds, and who knows...sometimes actually communicating nets you your request. I've seen people ask and others oblige to wait. Now, sometimes you do get that one jerk, but nobody can fix that, only Darwin can.

Just make ALL cutscenes available in the little Inn Book. That's all they have to do to solve this problem. Yes I get that this is a story driven game but it's also a freaking MMO and no one wants to wait.

Why would you assume that? I for one think SE should implement a mandatory viewing of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within before each final alliance raid boss to ensure everyone gets there on time. Plus it's such an entertaining film who wouldn't want to see it again and again?

Oh hell no. Many people aleady stopped doing main scenario roulette for this reason. I don't want to go back to 30 minute wait times for raids like they were before the roulette!

An actual solution to this would be to alter how the "room lockout barrier" works. Either it doesn't go up until after people have finished watching the cutscene, or the single person who was watching it gets a 'free pass' through the barrier.

Alternately, set it up so people get warped into the boss arena upon completion of the cutscene? It works that way for the later scenes in the Praetorium.


(And yes I know that the original post is most likely sarcasm but it is, nevertheless, a game-design problem that you can get locked out of the final part of the raid because the cutscene is longer than the lockout time on the barrier.)

Chill out satan, not everyone wants to watch 4 year old cutscenes for the 500th time. Everyone has already abandoned Main story roulette, do you want them to quit alliance raid too?
