I'd rather just have it be a set number than having to convert one at a time. One of my friends has like 6000 because they didn't know about the turn in. It doesn't help that you can only do it IN THE INSTANCE, especially if you're high level and getting multiple invites to drag you to pazuzu.
So does quick sythensis? It only makes sure you have the needed materials and hen produce randomly fails, NQs, HQs, either in stack or, like gear, one item per inventory slot. And cancels if you're full.
We just need an option to exchange X crystals and he loops through the process and cancels it when you have only no slot left. EZ.

They can also just change the 800 small ones steps and maybe the 400 steps to a 250/125 big crystals step.
Problem solved. Probably the easiest solution by far ... also keep the old turn ins, so people who have already exchanged but not spent a lot dont get screwed.
Things quick synth does:
- Calculates the amount of attempts based on amount of materials before the process starts
- Performs RNG check per attempt (synth - success/fail, this - amount of crystals obtained, or what item's obtained from lockbox)
- Cancels the process if you ran out of inventory space regardless of remaining attempts
I have no idea why they don't use this system for more things in the game, it's so elegant. No one would even hold it against them for it still taking so long, we just want it automated
No it doesn't. Take the logic it's doing now, wrap it inside a For loop for however many times you want to do it, return the final result to the client. This is programming 101.

On PC, I realized I could just hit 0 on my numpad once the "next" screen was up and so I just sat there and spammed that key while watching Netflix lol. But yeah, really poor design with the amount of anemos we get >.<
Currency system with 3/1 protean to anemos exchange rate would have been better. How to fix it now? Not sure if you can convert it to currency with the rng exchange. That is all hindsight though.
