Zalera will likely see a huge surge in players, then. It's the smallest NA server and has hundreds of free houses - so much like what happened with Mateus, I'm betting on wayward role-players moving there to set up another community.

Wonder how long until people start leaving again because it feels like it's "dying" all over again? how long until it's literally just all dead FCs and rp alts.
Never understood the reason why alts by a current player on the server aren't allowed. Only one alt/character can log in at a time and we do pay extra for alt creation options each month. I guess the character creation process isn't that sophisticated and they have to lock everyone.
That's the reason Balmung got locked again. Each alt that enters the server regardless of where the creator is from is considered "+1" to it's grand population. For every alt that someone within got onto the server, is an added additional "+1" to it's total server population. This means that a single service account can make up a total of plus eight of the population. For every player that took advantage of the situation and created alts, that made Balmung's total population sky rocket. This made Balmung more congested than it originally was having already been the most population server in the game, is now even bigger since players felt they needed more alts on the server.
In a sense they have no reason to do so BECAUSE those servers are low pop. Much less revenue potential there, no? Now don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing against Balmung being one of the more populated servers, maybe still the most populated even without the bots, but we have a LOT of bots on Balmung right now, so the question is are there enough bots to have tipped the scale and get us locked again, where without them we might've been able to go on for another patch or two. They certainly didn't help any, that's for sure.
