Well, at least that's another game. I'm still coming to terms with the Cup Noodle and Vivienne Westwood crossovers in FF15. :p

It feels like crossover events and cameos are becoming more common, though. Especially in big titles. I'm not entirely opposed so long as the payoff is worthwhile. I'm actually still annoyed at the lack of the proposed FF15 crossover event with FF14. That'd likely give us some pretty sweet glamour options.

The DQ event is more relative far as I'm concerned lol but my comment is more in regards to this thread being made not long after a thread was made requesting a KH3 crossover event. Honestly, I wasn't sure whether to treat this as a troll thread or not due to that... So I used sarcasm :p

Chrono Trigger is owned by Square Enix, so in this case, yes they would have permission to use all of it.

I just want a orchestion of CT. Weapons or crossover idc

You guys mustn't venture into Japanese games often, they love crossover with anything from other games to real food/drink products & more.
Cup Noodle thing was honestly something very normal & standard, just like the AC cross-over in 15 that people west complained about Ubi done many cross overs with J-games From past Final Fantasy to Metal Gear Solid.

It feels like this is less a question of whether they can, and more a question of why would they at all? Cross overs tend to be promotions for other IPs in some sense; what is there to promote about CT? A Steam release of a port? Seems a bit of a stretch to justify that.
