Squadron limit break (Ungarmax) can be used in regular duties by any job

The pomander thing was a little more involved and required the use of third party software to "send" pomander data to the server outside of allowed instances. This on the other hand can be done from within the game by just inputting the specific limit break command. It's more oversight than exploit, as far as player abuse goes.

Different games and all, but in SWTOR there was a bug where some usually non-sellable lightsaber crystals could be bound into cheap, sellable weapons and vendored and people made billions of credit in minutes. None of this was outside of normal means - it wasn't unusual to vendor these weapons when you upgraded - but anyone caught using the method was banned. Some temp, most perm. I even got an email warning, although all I'd done was vendor one of my old weapons I wasn't going to use (I just didn't get banned because it was a one-time thing).

Not saying XIV will do the same, but I'm pretty sure that an exploit counts as an exploit, especially as you have to go outside of the standard interface to do the thing.

I hope this does get fixed when 4.25 releases, and no i'm not going to use this since the action "Ungarmax" can be or at least should be traced in the combat logs.

Such arrogance, you must have not be around in FF11. Anyone here still remember FF11's mass ban in 2009? That is how S/E respond the player arrogance.

Almost 2/3 of high end HNM LS are wiped off the world of Vana'del, all of the players used the exploits received permanent ban. Considering the difficultly of building a character in FF11, tears are literally formed a river.

Go ahead and keep that mindset and challenge S/E.

Hopefully now that it's become more public SE will actually fix it and ban people who were exploiting it

This is both still in the game, and a viable strategy that doesn't rely on using clearly unintended mechanics.

Plus it's easier to do with a RDM than a WAR.

It can and the lead host for FFlogs has/already is auto removing any logs with it in them.

Yeah, it's a bug, but it at least gave healers and tanks SOMETHING to do, and contribute, when the DPS sat on the LB bar for an entire dungeon.
