Adding housing after a Maint. Why?

If they could do that they would not have to add a Maint at all. They could have added them last week and had them go live at 2am. It reads that they go live when Maint is over.

Shouldn't happen since houses opens up 1 hour after patch get on. Last time round it didnt take 1 hour to get on? Took me maybe 5-10 min

Are you sure it will be an hour after? I'm... trying to agree but have found no source agreeing with that statement.

It took me 30 min to get out of que. Please provide a link as to where it says wards go up an hour after Maint ends.

The one hour delay was from a reddit thread (possibly more than one) I read, maybe something has changed since then or maybe somene got the wrong end of the stick. I guess you can track down in a google search.

They really need to do something with that login queue though, the great majority of people complaining about the last release was they were just stuck waiting in the queue. They really do need to allow ample time to log in before releasing the plots.

Ya, I was there last time. Bitterly struck with error after error before surrendering to the super lucky groups that swept through the area and bitterly hating on the entire server. That said. Reddit claims one hour (Which would be sooooo nice) But from both US and EU Pages

After the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, February 6, new plots in each residential district will be made available for purchase as follows:

This doesn't hold much hope for an hour later deal. Either way, I guess I'll deal with the stress of the queue regardless and if it happens an hour later then well I'll be at least be ready.

Edit: And after a horrendous (yes I hate doing searches) search through reddit I see a single claim from a megathread I'm not willing to tear through! XD

no it doesn't (though such a thing is sorely needed). we can only hope for a more detailled explaination priot to the patch I guess.

Yeah maybe i mixed it up with the unofficial translation but it wouldn't make sense it not being 1 hour after. What would that change in terms of login queues?

I recall reading somewhere that housing will only open an HOUR after servers open up, possibly to avoid people DCing.

Can anyone confirm?
