Gil limits on server transfers

No, any additional characters you have on the same world can be transferred together to the destination world for the same cost. Standard subscription allows for 8 characters per world, so you can transfer up to 8 characters together.

it's the same result for you - but not for the server economy as a whole.

the point is to not bring much new gil onto another server, wich could crash the economy. when you buy items for 10 mio on server A and sell them for 20 mio on server B, then you have doubled your money. but you took the extra 10 mio out of the gil-pool of server B - no new gil was brought to server B and the economy will stay stable. due to the taxes by buying and selling the gil-pool actually even shrinked, slowing down the inflation a little.
