Did the housing moratorium have to have THIS week?

I keep reading that we will be able to relocate but you got a source for it? I'm finding it a bit hard to believe that people will be able to locate their houses while not allowing those without houses to buy one (unless you are an FC ofc).

It's all in patch notes, and an extra notice when you enter a housing ward. Relocation still works.

A 1 week restriction on personal housing after wards are added is rather optimistic. Doesn't really even give them enough time to comb through the data to see what worked.

I think it's ok to have the stuff visible and notices placed in advance. Removes the excuse of "waaa! I didn't know!" gives people the time to digest that BS, and turn it into "waaa! I forgot!" which is automatically their fault since the notices were placed well in advance.

Houses already started popping up on Ultros I think I saw three open up before the server death.

On my server the new wards were blanked out, you couldn't even access them (Or see anything in the list when you clicked the number). :S I'm quite confused now. Will have to have another look when maint is over. I was highly under the impression that you wouldn't be able to relocate or anything until next Tuesday. Perhaps I have misunderstood.

I just saw one small land demolished here in Exodus where I live, tryed purchase, but it says "a moratorium has been placed upon all plot sales to indivuduals" and a timer counting.

can someone explain what it mean?

I don't want appartments nor private room in fc building, I want my own private house.

I guess everyone has seen, it is mainly on the first screen of my PS4 everytime I open my FFXIV to play.
