After leveling a Ninja, then a Paladin, I found Samurai to be a class that I really enjoy. I enjoy the whole flow of it and really hope I don't start getting cut or kicked for simply being a specific class.

Everyone will still want NIN and not SAM b/c NIN does *their* numbers bigger.Quote:
And the lowest personal DPS for all melee classes.
1. You won't have highest DPS going 1-2-3. Not on SAM.Quote:
So, you re not ok in having the highest personal DPS just by pressing 1-2-3-Setsugekka, while giving nothing to your party? Well, lets nerf SAM's personal DPS to the ground (less than BRD) and give him tons of utility. Happy now?
2. Actually, yes. I'll play SAM (if it still have same fluid gameplay) if it was utility job anytime.
I see people saying that you should enjoy your class in both the good times and the bad.. and no, I'm not planning on changing from Samurai any time soon! I still think it's fair to point out that it could and should be improved, though. It seems like those that are saying we should just be quiet are those with a vested interest in their meta class.. í ¾í´”
Raidwide blood for blood plz
I don't care if samurai has the highest dps or lowest dps. I'll always play it. It will always be my go-to. I mean....this is a game after all. The main point should be to have fun and play what you want to play.
If you raid then you'll know that samurai was never a top job and if you don't then the job balances doesn't affect you in any significant way anyway
It's funny... I remember when the expansion first came out there was a huge thread (or more like a few) freaking out over Samurai DPS and calling for big nerfs because we were topping some charts with our personal DPS.
Funny how half a year later, Samurai hasn't been touched and no one wants it, just like people predicted.
And anyone who thinks spamming Midare is going to give you good DPS has never played the class. Great Sam DPS requires proper Kenki management, Hagakure usage, predicting incoming damage to get the most out of Third Eye/Seigan and not overlapping Sen while keeping buffs going. Midare is a small part of our overall damage.
