They could just make it a WHM only ability and make it work like it does in PvP. That could help shake up the formula a bit.

Those are my exact thoughts. It's not specified as to exactly why the dev team feels conflicted to keep or get rid of it (I'm just gonna speculate WHM aesthetic reasons) but this seems like the most simplest solution imo.

Yes please. Having a Rampart-esque ability that I can cast on an ally would be so nice. Especially since WHM is severely lacking utility.

So it looks like we can still form a party in eureka. And a level down thing when you die for elemental things sounds cool too.

It's FATEs and hunts... How is that "a completely different set of battle rules from field or instanced content." that Yoshi said just last November? This is literally the only content in the overworld besides quests. What the hell? Can they seriously not think of anything new?

I swear for some reason I always read Yoshida as Y’shtola.
