Can someone confirm this?

Even with the addition of guaranteed meld slots, it's still going to stand just under a pentamelded Ala Mhigan, they probably just wanted to close the gap a little more. ATM the only reason to get scrip gear is to play catch up or if you're not interested in anything above the lower level 2 stars. I do hope it's shared among classes, though, the grind to get all the sets is too much for most people. The Artisan's set from Talan (not the crafted one) in ARR was shared, that was useful.

Just checked the new mainhands, iL330 augmentedXking's Crafts 514, Control 276, no slots. Ala Migan X Crafts 500, Control 268.

I haven't any Ala Migan crafting armor for comparsion but the augmented armor has no slots.
