Yoshi P specified that Eureka will not be anything like Diadem.

Just make it part of the open world and let folks do what they would do in any other area. That is solo gather or group up as needed for hunts and FATES.

The Diadem could easily be revived by adding new rewards every now and then.

Diadem sucks on a fundamental level, so I’d honestly hate this.

Like, who on the dev team is deluded enough to think that partying up and doing overturned FATES is something players want to do?

This is probably the best solution, really.

It's hard to even get into Diadem because its like impossible to queue for. People might actually do stuff if they could just get in.

I think they should fix it. Way I see it, I paid for that content with my purchase of Heavensward and my ongoing sub. Not fixing it and just closing it is sort of a slap to the customer's face.

Best solution to be honest, now that it's basically dead no reason for it to be an instance.

There's a ton of ways to fix the content. Suggesting to close it is the utmost laziest on his part. I've never heard a producer talk like this. "Eh, maybe we just kill it" vs. adding a couple of small things that could actually make it better.

You could let people join in progress, like with other duties. You could even put it in the duty finder and remove that whole fuel voucher thing. You should let people just enter at 70 to mess around and farm whatever they want and not make them unsync for fates.

How much other crap is this going to be cut because 'meh'

The Diadem is totally irrelevant. It was supposed to be another way to get great gear for yourself, along with a few other rewards, but players flipped out when it was revealed the PINK gear dropped had an RNG element, and could be BiS. It was unfun FATE grinding for the uncomfortably small chance for BiS.

But, since SE removed that element after player backlash, the Diadem became pointless outside of the exclusive minions and mount. The queues are so comically long I've never been able to enter the place, and now we have those same minioms and mount locked behind an impossible to pass wall that very few can do because no one else has a reason to go.

So, yeah, it's a waste of space and server strain. Can it and put the Hawk and Pegasus drops elsewhere. Put Dev time into new content and learn from the mistakes.

Because moving the titles, minions, mount, and achievements to other content would be a pain and if they did close it then eventually other people would complain about not being able to go anymore.
