A plan for a relatively fair housing release

But yeah, i found another great misconception.

It may lessen the crowd racing for a house but it will still kill the server by the amount of players vs available houses. Some may decide to participate in a later timeframe but also all who didn't get a house will participate and the crowd will grow till the last release.
Also this mitigates nothing for resellers, it's the opposite. Now they have a comfortable timeframe to change to alts and participate in the next race for a house to resell.
The only result would be the delay of the reselling after the last release.

But yes the only real solution would be instanced housing and get rid of the ward system or releasing enough wards to have at least enough houses for every possible character on the server including enough excess for FCs or better a hybrid system with enough wards for FCs and instanced personal housing.

For resellers i had suggested limiting housing to one purchase per account for the first 24 hours of the release. It won't eliminate the issue but hopefully reduce it without putting to great a burden on regular players. If a reseller has more than one account I don't think there is any way to accurately hinder them.

As previous threads have mentioned, not every player is willing and\or able to carve out more time for the house race so I don't think the group size will continuously grow. My guess is it will fluctuate throughout the day as people get off work and the average load will be less than the 4.1 release but I don't have data to back that up.

People inside FC's should be able to buy houses if they have none. But I do like the timer for accounts, prevents house flippers and alts from purchasing many houses and reselling them. I am only looking forward to relocate my house and that is all. But I hope they do something similar to this.
