It was from Dev posts from a few months back, but they had given the example of Red Mage requiring CNJ and THM.

@ Fiosha: That's exactly how it was. A friend and I were leveling our ARCs as our 2nd classes with another friend who was a GLA, and during leves, at high difficulty, our Multishots would instantly kill anything that popped before our GLA could even pull out their sword.

So what class would you propose becomes bard then?
Not that this discussion You out here posting complaints months after all the information was released. This complaint has been issued before, so your a little late to the party. I can't think of the last MMO I played that bard wasn't a bow user, so I don't see how you are so surprised. Most players made false assumtions about what job alot of classes would be. I think many, such as yourself, got your hopes up about what the job for your prefered class would be?

I do have one question, why would bard not be shooting anything? I am not sure how they plan on instituting the bard as a whole, but I have never really seen a game where I was unable to attack as a bard.

Also, You do not have to become the job, your more then welcome to stay the class for ranged DD. For now though, I would say to give it a chance and see what happens. You may not like it, but then again, you may absolutely love it. No point in prejudging it now.

yes got bored dug up the adv jobs descriptions then dug up the translation of the abilities from some random forums which didn't have the full job descriptions cause the translator could barely translate some of it. then put them together for all the jobs since i saw know one had done that yet for the english forums :(

its only the first wave of jobs, maybe we'll get a ranger or hunter in the 2nd wave. Besides it has pretty good abbilities as bard, i would have liked to have an attack buff but with tp will be fine. And the Aoe ws looks good for moogle fight

The question to ask is if we will be able to have 1? 2? 3? songs active at once. WIll it be like FFXI, where if im playing PGL i'll have to run by the mages for the MP song? If we could only have 1 or 2 songs, the HP + TP song would kinda ruin it for pgl lol.

in your theory if we cant stack buffs tp isn't really a problem at the moment in this game. if you cant keep your own tp up than that a user error but stacking on mages to get a mp buff doesnt cripple plg at all. all you do is move get buff go bak to fight simple if that is even the case but im guessing the songs will be able to stack but only last for 15-20 secs 1-2min cd's just my guess
