Control V's are 150k a pop on my server, and pentamelding them into slots with a 7% chance just isn't happening.
I'll dump a bunch of IV's in until I need to remeld.

Ended up melding like this: https://imgur.com/a/53VXt
This build is all control and no craftsmanship. I do not recommend it.
This is for the ultimate rich people... The person who melded it also used Craft VI before Control VI in a number of items. This is usually not optimal as most of the times Control VI is usually more expensive. (But I could be wrong. Maybe when the person did her/his melds, Craft VI was more expensive.) A melding strategy like this will cost at least 20 million gil on my server. I do not recommend.
This is still a pretty expensive build, but a bit more affordable than the above. It is a control-heavy build. It is streamlined for macro-ing special 2 star recipes... which makes sense, because Tayler developed a very nice rotation that requires this high control to get the job done. So Tayler's melds are optimal for her/himself.
The build I showed in my crafting guide is more towards craftsmanship (also still pretty expensive, but a tad bit cheaper). But I had cheaper, weaker melds on accessories than Tayler.
To be frank, you don't need expensive melds to HQ everything in the game. With a good MaMa rotation, you can have as low as 1330/1220/475 (but preferably 1441/1318/510) and still be able to HQ special 2 star recipes from pure NQ mats. So if you don't have the money to fully meld the i320, then just put temporary CP materia in them for now. And pull out the materia later when you want to do the proper melds. You can still craft ALL recipes and HQ them ALL in the game.
The maxed stats shown by Tayler and me in my crafting guides are not exactly needed to HQ items. They're specifically for "macro-ing special 2 star recipes". If your goal is just to HQ things, you DO NOT need max melds like ours.
This current patch is the "gearing up" patch. There's a good reason for us to do M'naago custom delivery and Zhloe's delivery these days. It helps us to get a lot of yellow and red scrips. Red scrips is our primary source of free Tier V materia at the moment. So you can slowly collect a huge amount of Tier V materia gradually during the current patch, and have them melded before the next patch arrives. No need to rush and break your bank. In the meanwhile, just use MaMa rotation for any special 2 star recipes, and you should still be able to HQ things fine.
Think I have the best possible melds for current 2 star, aside from weapons which I always use to optimize craftsmanship. Ending up with 1640 craftsmanship unbuffed or with tempura is important cause it lets you do a 3x pbp, 2x rs2 not under ingenuity, and 1 careful synth II rotation. Certainly not necessary but i like crafting fast starting from low quality.
I took your advise and aimed for for the 1441/1318/510 MaMa rotation and came up with this set up after I JUST BARELY made my 2-star set (I actually used the Init Prep rotation with the minimum stats and struggled [several 70-80% chance to HQ]). But my thought process was since we NEED specialization for these sets, I factored in the 20 Craftsmanship and 20 control into my calculation. So when I made the following set, it may look odd but with NORMAL Tempura Platter (one you can buy from a vendor) it gives me 1445/1319/514 (1425/1299/514 for non-specialists). I only used a few level 5's and mostly level 4 and below in the new 2-star gear since I know I will need to re-meld come either 4.2 or 4.3.

the thing is right now...
Maker's Mark + Piece by Piece completely trivializes the need for craftsmanship past the absolute minimum which the Ala Mhigan set hits naturally(although it's tedious)
Going Crazy with control will let you use less and less HQ materials improving profit margins drastically. for instance the new water on behemoth is like 100g NQ vs 20,000g HQ
and once the next tier of crafts comes around you'll be able to retrieve most of it and re-materia for the next tier's stats since just going for one stat should mostly be fairly cheap
On the other hand if you go all out and max everything as much as possible you can actually get to a point of crafting without the 70+ step method although you still need some HQ mats to do so and your set will pretty much be guaranteed to still be viable next crafting tier.
So it's a choice between maximizing short term profit or future proofing
