As far as pats, us lalafell understand the tall folk find us adorable, and will accept an occasional pat after you introduce yourself. Randomly patting one of us is just as offputting as if we did it to you.

To be fair, if you walked up and randomaly patted us it would end up being in a very different area so it might be more offensive to us.........then again.......mabye not.
