Uniqe weapon stances foreatch race

Just try Pugilist with Roegadyn and Elezen, you'll see the difference =)
Stances are different, but they have all a basic stance to respect, so...

Well the OP should have made his title different. Weapons stances and weapon animations are two different things. I like the weapon stances, but I DO think we could have subtle differences in weapon animations.

Hell! I think jobs should have different stances instead of reusing the same battle stances that classes use, MNK's WS that was showed today was very Kung-Fu-ish, why not give him a matching martial arts stance and attacks to go with it?

Oh you're right, they're different, but in XI they were MOOOAR different :O I can't believe thay made another thing different from XI /ragequit.

This is what i want to see, Being unique:) Right now every class hold lance and other weapons the same with same animation. I must say, it look pretty dumb>.>

There are actually three different stances to holding a spear/lance (in the real world). And holding like the Elvaan is one of them. Its the defensive stance. Albeit the Elvaan should technically have it slightly tilted (either end slightly higher, does not matter, it is reversible). Other than that little detail he is wielding it correctly.

In fact the Mithra is the ONLY one who is wielding the lance/spear incorrectly as she has made herself too open for attack. (but I suppose it looks cool)

Some races already do, just look at lalalancer vs every other race, also miqo'te pgl vs. lalafell/roegardyn/elvaan

Making them even more different, including the WS animations would be interesting but not likely.

the taru holding the gun/crossbow was cool. just a little baby gun but still dealt big dmg. thats why i lvl'd rng to 75 on 2 chars!

Most stances look very generic & similar in XIV, in XI every race had very unique stances, most noticeable being the Elvaan sam only one holding a katana correctly. I approve of this, definitely would like the races to have less generic looking stances that for the most part look very, very similar to each other. While I agree a few look different, there are too few that look unique from one another.
