Personally I've notice 32 change my heals by as much as 100, but 18 HMP changes them from 150-200, i'm gonna continue to play around with it, however, I would say if you can afford it HMP.
Mind
Healing Magic Potency
Magic Accuracy
Damage Dealt by GLA, THM and CNJ arms

So yes 1 Heal Pot= 4 Mind
The 'hidden effect' is that extra mind adds magic acc, which can lower your resist rates (you can get resisted on cures too). The 'lowered resist' threshold is probably what is causing the flux in numbers. That and as others have said, stacking only one stat is also unbalanced and leads to less-effective gameplay.

Pretty much answers everything healing-related in terms of which stats effect heals by which amount in the current patch (1.20).
Any discussions on a MND cap with AF equipped?
Playing with post-patch jewelry combinations and was wondering how others felt about using 2 Turquoise rings (MND +15 x2). Or perhaps this is overkill.
Id stack two +15 MND rings (or +18 HQ MND rings) not too many alternatives out there.. could use black pearls and hope your cures crit a lil more often...
Pump as much Healing Potency as you can as well, I am unsure of the MND cap.. but atm MND Materia usually gets melded onto Head/Main Hand for WHM/CNJ .. WHM Af gives +25 healing magic now and there is a staff in Aurum Vale that has +40 Healing magic potency .. don't know the name off hand tho...
I personally go with the black pearl rings if I need to do any nuking, or VIT rings since 2 VIT rings gives you a few points of Enhancing Magic, which equates to a few more points of Regen and I find that invaluable. MND isn't bad and does double duty of both healing potency and magic accuracy, but AF gives us so much healing potency that I feel it is better to use accessories for other functions.
