Will there ever be a way to access housing features....

When the majority of useful plants are locked behind cross breeding, which you can't do with flower pots, I hardly consider that giving access to the feature.

As far as I'm aware, the chocobo stables outside the apartment are functionally the same as FC ones.

However, an apartment still doesn't allow the usage of outdoor furnishings (add balconies please); funnily enough, it seems as though the majority of holiday furnishing awards have been outdoors.

What are you talking about? I'm honestly confused. Do you know how gardening or even housing in general works?

There is still an option to simply use friend's garden. I don't know about others, but I wouldn't mind letting stranger use mine if asked nicely.

And btw. housing isn't exactly that hard to get for "average player". I play on most populated EU server (at least before SB, not sure how transfers affected it) and got a small house in less than 6 months after I started playing. I actually saw another free plot long before that but didn't have enough gil to buy it.

Yeah i do. but you choose not to get a house or find access to a house. therefore you don't get to garden in a plot. thems the breaks.

Finding a house is not easy lol...there is far less housing than there are actual players. And by the way, I have a house. On Balmung no less, so I know what it's like. I'm sure OP would love to get a house. A lot of people have the money, far more money than they would need actually, there is just no housing available.

I would say that they don't have enough gil. Having enough gil just to buy the house is not enough. There's plenty of people selling their house in Balmung (yes, it's against tos but everyone is doing that) anyway.

So should we really be advocating going against the TOS to have access to some features of the game? This is really just a silly argument.

There's other method that require more effort to get a house even in the more populated server that don't violate the tos.

Thing is, when demand is more than supply, you have to put in more effort than others, or work smartly. Its not like SE will change their policy soon. All I had seen is players complaining without trying to put in the effort.

The Workshop is an instance inside of another instance. There are zero reasons to be attached to a house, in fact, it makes no sense to be in a house instead of in a major city with an airship landing area.

What, you mean waiting and waiting until you're lucky enough for a plot to open up? Because that's the only way you're getting one without technically violating ToS. And that isn't hard work, that's getting lucky.

We absolutely should be keeping SE to task on this. It's ridiculous, and in no way should it be defended. As mentioned, there should be a public airship hangar and greenhouse. That doesn't require SE to change their entire system.

If you are actually doing that its no effort at all. Its just testing your luck.

There's a few more active method to free up a house without violating tos and law. It's abit devilish to use those method though. Tips: something to do with dealing with bot.
