Has anyone actually done any testing on this? I can see Crit working in two ways - either (1) the Crit percentage is determined at the time of DoT application like everything else or (2) when the DoT ticks, it rolls a Crit Chance to determine if that particular tick actually Crits. A cursory search on Google netted nothing concrete but if DoTs work like #2 then Bane'ing DoTs that are applied when Chain Strategem is on the target would make no difference to the crit rate on the DoTs that are transferred.
Would be curious to see if anyone has came upon any testing to this effect in their travels. I'm leaning more towards #2 but would like to proven otherwise.
