Hunts where never fun, I personally hate waiting and waiting on open world content.
They can fix it by... A and S rank pop more often but you personally have a lock out timer or reduced reward for fighting the same one within 24 hours.
This thread for like the hundredth time...
People keep making these threads because they feel there's an obvious issue, and little answer or even acknowledgement.

If you want the hunts, you find/spawn them yourself. Yes, you will still miss some. It sucks. It really does. But that is the way it works now since Yoshi-P thinks "lol hunts r old content lol".
ARR hunts on my server die in literally 2 seconds. I would record it if my computer did not have a nuclear meltdown if running two programs at once. On RDM, I literally only have time for a Jolt + Dualcast before things are dead. It doesn't help that some people (namely the people who show up to a call they did not find/spawn and instapull) start spamming /shout macros about how its a competition and dev team says so neener-neener.
It's stupid that a certain currency is pretty much locked behind this thin veener of "competition" in a game that encourages teamwork in literally all other content. Just buff ARR and HW hunts to level 70 and be done with it already.
That all being said - Start a hunt party and look for things yourself. Make a rule to call in party first so the active hunters have time to arrive before making any calls in LSes. Works like a charm.
People keep making these threads because they rely on OTHER people to actively find or spawn these hunts, while thinking they have the obligation to wait indefinite periods of time for everyone to make it there.
Hunts have been this way since ARR, they have always been as "fun" as they are now in regards to people waiting or not waiting for others.
Active hunters are no more obligated to wait for late comers than you are to spawn/look for them if you dont want to.
As for the tiger - no. Leave the achievement this way as a reward for the few people who put actual effort into being and participating in this content for a long time.
We have other such achievements - in PvP (field commander gear and frontlines mounts) that require time put into this content to win x times and get a reward out of it. Now, the same happens to hunts. :P

I disagree, the other content that you have listed (non-rank PVP) actually need a shiny carrot (glamour/mounts/minion) to keep them alive for as long as possible, and while said content is alive, there is no artificial time gate (or in such absurd amount) to block them from grinding it unlike the S rank spawn timers for the tiger mount. Setting aside rank PVP exclusives, I think the tiger mount is probably the only achievement reward with a ridiculous amount of artificial time gate. I suppose there's the ARR sightseeing log minion, but they change how that works for HW/SB.
hunts are free for all, no obligation to wait for anyone. missed it? too bad, so sad. =p
