I allways checked the Skywatcher first for the right conditions before i traveld to the area, but i whas allways before 0800 there to get to the spot in time. So you mean i need to wait until is 0800 before i travel to the area and try again?

No, I'm saying that you have to make sure the next weather is the correct one.
Say you arrive early at 0730, and the current weather is correct, but the next weather is wrong. When 0800 comes around, it will appear to be the correct weather still for about five Eorzea minutes. Many people see this and think they can flag the vista. However, despite appearances, the whether actually had already changed exactly at 0800, so the conditions for the vista were not met.
If a vista opens at 0000, 0800, or 1600, you have to make sure that the weather after that time is correct, because the whether changes at those exact times.
... Never mind problem solved, i missed the right place by like 1cm all the time. Im so mad right now.
I'm having trouble with two sightseeing points in Western Coerthas, so perhaps people can help me as well.
One is at Dragonspit (X:9.1, Y:10.4) and the other perched on a frozen dragon in the northwest (X:12.7, Y:8.2, Z:0.9). In both locations I get the "arrived at vista" message, /lookout and get nothing.
I've checked the sightseeing log hints and there don't seem to be any remaining that require a different emote.
Thanks for that link! Really clear and helpful. Time to tackle the rest of my ARR logs. :D
A select few of the HW and SB sightseeing log entries require an emote other then lookout, but they dont really give much(or any) of a hint as to such. A quick search leads me to believe that for the first one you mention that you need to sit in the pond, and the second one the emote is /me.
Interesting. I'd worked out that a few of them did need other emotes, but it seemed to be linked with variations in the hint text - eg. instead of the usual "I looked out over the landscape" text, that one line might change to say "I sat down and admired the landscape". (One spot in Gyr Abania had me agonising for ages before I realised they'd inserted 'night' into the otherwise standard text.)
I couldn't see any incomplete entries remaining in Coerthas that indicated a different emote to 'lookout' and I didn't think there were supposed to be other variables for the Heavensward entries.
Some of them do have hints like that. But no, not all of them.
I have the same problem with #38 The Lancers Guild.
I am using this tracker
https://tylian.net/sslog/
So I know I am going at the right time but when using /lookout it auto-targets me instead of activating the vista, I have typed it and used it as a button, both auto-target me.
This is the only ARR vista I don't have. I have used that site for all the vistas.
In my experience, when the emote targets me rather then activating the vista its because im there either at the wrong time or wrong weather. But i havent done the whole log, so i cant speak for 38 in particular.
I am trying to work my way through the ARR vistas, but get frustrated, as several of them do not register, even if I do everything correct.
I have tried vista 24 Hidden Falls twice now, with correct weather, time and emote and nothing comes up.
Same happened with 41 Guardian Tree, the vista is on the tree bridge I assume?
I was running all over the correct location, but the chat box never mentioned that I am at a vista.
Is this a bug or did they get removed?
