Can we get a Reptilian race please?

I actually like the Au Ra a lot I think they did a good job with them.

I find them adorable, but the females look alot like the female Hyur and Miqo'te. The current Au Ra could easily been a third Miqote clan, but with scales. There is no changing it right now, but I was disappointed when they revealed the race in 2014. Instead of a race that looks different from the current one, we got a clone with scales. I reckon you can understand why some people were not happy with the Au Ra race.

I mention Au Ra, but this mostly targeted towards the females. The males look different enough to be its own race.

One of the better new race suggestions imho.

Doubtful since Au Ra are the "reptiles" in the game already. Even tho they are just humans with scales, horns and a tail glued on.

I still want my demonic looking Au Ra Concept.

This is the main reason why I don't like them. They could have taken out the reptilian and they would have just been Elezen.

Our version of the Viera will probably be Slightly shorter than Elezen Women and Men, with normal hands feet.
Bunny ears and fluffy tail and that's it.
Concept Au Ra was amazing but we always get "humans with added features". :/
Or as Zumi said, 10% original and 90% human. I'm sure they just cheese it because
they have to make 'race own' gear to accommodate (Like Original Au Ra and Viera.)

The more inhuman a race is, the more deformation any gear on them has. The alternative is manually going through every model and altering them to fit around inhuman characteristics. SE wants neither.

Shouldn't there be a thread to request less human looking races for next new race? With enough support it could get Yoshi's team's attention to not make the same choices that they made with Au'ra. :0

Don't you mean "scaley race"? :P

But yeah, I'd like a playable race that's different enough from the current races to actually be non-humanoid.

The current races are mostly just human-looking with a larger variety of skin tones (like greens and blues) and/or animal ears/horns stuck on.

And the Viera would not fill this role one bit, no, given how the Au Ra looked in concept art but were then watered down to what they are now.

Just make the MGS bunny ears equippable by males and we don't need the Viera...
