Items disappearing in house.

Bumping an old thread here, but it seems along with very few getting homes, the homes given keep having this issue. Why make the item count higher inside if it can't actually support it? I have a small house for my FC and even at 175/200 items this keeps happening. It kind of ruins anything fancy trying to be accomplished.

Same problems here with a few furnitures, now randomly my armoire chest and my FC chest disappears randomly if I move a few steps away.

SO: 64 bits
CPU: i5 4690k processor here.
GPU: Asus Strix GTX 970
Game installed in a Samsung EVO 850 SSD.

Silly question, but does your FC house use any of the blank wall partitions that allow you to apply wallpaper to them? I can't remember, but I think I read someplace that those can cause issues as well

Yep, those count as interactive furniture. Flower pots, vases, food, npcs, blank partitions, lights that have on/off features, etc all count towards that 40 interactive item limit before things start disappearing randomly.
