Steam payment HUGE price increase!

Could confirm price increase in Russia. But price for Auto Renewal payment is still old one,could you pls check if it's true for you too?

would not change a thing since i'm in canada and we pay the fee in U.S. dollars and the servers were here not long ago, the price just change according to the Canadian dollars vs the U.S. dollar.

Yes, this still holds true for Brazil, but probably will be updated sooner than later.

So here's the REAL question:

Who actually controls the finance in this situation? Square Enix or Steam? You might want to bring this to SE's attention on customer service in case it's Steam being shady.

As far as I know the is a tool steam has that allows them to readjust prices in certain locations in order for them to be sold for a more... accessible price in the region.

Don't know how it goes in other places, but in Brazil at least 90% of the products sold on steam have readjusted prices, or else the sales would be at least 70% less here.

The game developper can choose to turn this tool off whenever they please, the thing is: They turn it off 1 month after the expansions hits, when people who came back to the game have their sub time comming to an end and need to pay for it again.

What kills me right now is the lack of any information.I submited two tickets: one for SE and one for steam support,look's like we can only wait right now.

Not enough players from South America to justify the cost of putting servers and maintaining them there. Same thing applies to folks wanting Oceanic servers.

This could be a bug in MogStation.
