That's because there are people who report all that stuff to the forum mods constantly around here.

There is a sizable population of players who think parsing is akin to child murder, and actively report anyone and anything associated with it.

That is also because the community, by and large, cannot be trusted with this. Many of the forum users may be responsible enough for it, that I admit. But I believe a larger portion of the playerbase will use it to negatively affect the community. It already exists. As long as it exists, I do not believe the devs can trust us with this.

Besides, the tools to parse are already there for you. (Sans PS4 users)

In all fairness, an ingame one would be much more accurate. The third party ones have to guessitimate DoT damage, DoT crits, and so on. I mean they're pretty good at it but still.
