How to tune underpowered classes

Summoners are 2nd best dps in the game behind sam according to people who tested on training dummies. Also warrior has really high OT dps when in deliverance the best of any tank.

That's not about balance adjustment. A beta is to adjust and fix problems players discover, not add completely new features.

At the very least, take one SMN out of that equation and add in a Dragoon...

SMNs hover between last place DPS and 6th place DPS in actual fights. They are the lowest of the casters.

That's the issue though, on training dummies. a Training dummy won't suddenly become untargetable and mess up with the flow SMN is trying to setup. I'd say if you wanted to get the real feel of a SMN rotation you should have a friend /random every 30 seconds and if they hit an even number you can't act for 10 seconds. Meaning that if you went into Trance and 5 seconds in your friend rolls a 422, now you can't act for 10 seconds and you'll quickly see the issue with SMN.

A better example with his is:
PLD v WAR/DRK.
RDM v BLM/SMN.
MCH v BRD.
AST/WHM v SCH.

Now let them figure out which one sucks the more

As someone who has SMN at 70 it is just painful. The class is extremely punishing, and it requires a 100% accurate knowledge of the fight to even hope to do good. The stars have to actually align in a real fight for most SMNs to put out anywhere near training dummy level dps. So many things can go wrong in an actual fight and the set up time to get the burst is just insane. I'd rather suffer the current SCH state than deal with that mess.

That comp could easily 1 shot Susano EX, you should have waited for savage to come out and then try this argument with one of the harder savage raids

Scholar and Fairies could use some love. I am leveling all 3 healers and when the group is speedrunning, I noticed some differences.

- As an AST, I can buff the party, heal with ease, zero MP issue and do DPS

- As an WHM, I can heal the party with ease, zero MP issue and do alot of DPS, alot.

- As an SCH: I can heal the party with ease, but it depends on how big the pull is, more then 2 groups and I start to have MP issues. Aside from Shadow Flare and the dots + Bane, there is no other way for me to do AoE damage. My fairy heals for very low and my shield skills have cast time and are worse then the AST one.

Leveling all 3 healers side by side, made me see that SE f*cked up with Scholar and I truly hope they change something.
